Two prayer requests.
3 weeks ago a man at our church got hit by a car while he was riding his motorcycle. He was put into a medical coma due to swelling in his brain. He ended up getting worse & was declared brain dead. Last Sunday his wife decided to pull the plug in order to preserve his organs for donation. He & his wife had been married for 19 years & have 5 children, grades 5-12. His wife is asking for prayers for her children.
My sister is in the Air Force & said there’s a man she works with who was hit in the head during an explosion in Iraq & suffered brain damage, but not too severe to where he had to be discharged. But he suffers severely from PTSD. He feels as though he is a target when wearing his uniform & will strip naked & run until caught or when he feels safe. He had an episode & my sister & her commander had to drive after him & convince him to put on his clothes & get in their car. He was terrified because during his last episode in a nearby town he was tased. My heart instantly broke for this man. Please pray for healing.
